Philanthropy & Giving
How we give back
Running a business – especially a small business – is about more than profit and loss. It’s about contributing to the health of the community and being a good neighbor. That’s why we make giving back an integral part of our business practice.
Our philosophy is to give generously and consistently to the community we serve and to which we owe so much of our success – in business and in life.
We are proud to support these organizations and charities.
Greensburg YMCA
We believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for life. At the Greensburg Y, children and teens learn values and positive behaviors, and can explore their unique talents and interests, helping them realize their potential. That makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow.
YWCA of Westmoreland County
Across the globe, we have more than 25 million members in 106 countries, including 2.6 million members and participants in 300 local associations in the United States.
More important than the numbers, is our mission to eliminate racism and empower women. We provide safe places for women and girls, build strong women leaders, and advocate for women's rights and civil rights in Congress.
Women come to us in times of crisis. They come for job training and career counseling. They come for childcare. They come for health and fitness. They come for a variety of reasons. But they come. And they leave with a renewed spirit, new skills, and stronger lives.
Monroeville Meals on Wheels
The mission of Prescott Meals On Wheels (PMOW) is to provide services that enable older people to maintain independent living with safety and dignity. Our primary mission is to provide one hot nourishing meal per day, both in a congregate setting and to our homebound clients.
Greensburg Club of Italian Women
The club was started in 1936 by Italian immigrant women from the Hilltop section of Greensburg and has been going strong ever since.
These women raise funds for scholarships for female students of Italian descent from Greensburg Salem, Greensburg Central Catholic and Hempfield Area high schools. This year, the club will award each of 11 young women a $1,600 scholarship.
